I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Syracuse University, advised by Prof. Lixin Shen. Prior to that, I obtained my M.S. in Computational Mathematics through the joint program held by the Math Dept. at Hebei Normal University and the CS Dept. at Temple University, advised by Prof. Wei Guo and Prof. Haibin Ling.
My research focuses on optimization and machine learning, particularly compressive sensing, inverse problems, computational imaging, and numerical optimization. I am especially interested in leveraging inherent low-dimensional structure in data for recovery, computation, and communication.

Together with Guohui Song and Lixin Shen, we organize a minisymposium on "Optimization and Data-Driven Methods for Inverse Problems and Imaging" at SIAM IS26.
Received AMS–Simons Travel Grant 2026-2028.
Selected as a Young Researcher for the 13th Heidelberg Laureate Forum.
Together with Yifei Lou, we organize a minisymposium on "Sparsity-Driven Methods for Scientific Computing and Inverse Problems" at SIAM AN26.
A paper on sparse signal and image recovery is published in Anal. Theory Appl.
A paper on sparse logistic regression received the Best Paper Award at IEEE CCWC 2026.
A paper on proximity operators published in J. Optim. Theory Appl.
Started a postdoctoral position at the School of Data Science and Society, UNC-Chapel Hill, working with Prof. Yifei Lou.
Successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation.
A paper on sparse signal recovery accepted by J. Sci. Comput.
Received the Dissertation Fellowship Award to support dissertation completion.
Honored Outstanding TA award from Syracuse University.
Awarded Kibbey Prize in Mathematics for achievements in the PhD program.
